DR. ASHLEY STARR DDS
Dr. Ashley Starr was born in Florida and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated from Wake Forest University with degrees in both Physics and Chemistry. Following her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research scientist for the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. While there Dr. Starr studied stem cell regeneration for the use in facial and musculoskeletal reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Starr ultimately decided to pursue her passion for dentistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UNC-Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. Dr. Starr has demonstrated commitment to providing comprehensive family dentistry. She enjoys working with both children and adults to provide the best experience in dental care.
Dr. Starr has been and remains active in many professional societies and service organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society, the North Carolina Missions of Mercy, and the Give Kid’s a Smile program. She also has a great commitment to being part of and serving her local community and has been involved with organizations such as the Junior League of Greenville.
Dr. Starr has been proudly serving the Greenville community for the last five years after coming to join her husband, Brett, who is completing his final year of training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the East Carolina Heart Institute. They both look forward to continuing their service to the Greenville and eastern North Carolina communities.
