At Michels & Gauquie Cosmetic & Family Dentistry, we consider ourselves unbelievably fortunate to be able to practice our passion every day. It’s a blessing to have a career that allows us to deliver smiles and also improve lives. This is why philanthropy is also unquestionably at the heart of our practice.
Because we’ve seen the impact we can have especially on the lives of our patients, we’ve additionally made it our mission to expand our reach and give back to the Pitt county community we call home, and certainly beyond. We are always looking for opportunities to make charitable contributions and offer our services for those who need it most.

How We Give Back
Fluoride Treatment – Proceeds from each fluoride treatment also contribute toward the donation of thousands of fluoride care kits to the deserving children of Eastern North Carolina at orphanages and churches.
Mission Trips – Our dental missions have also allowed us to treat over 300 patients in the bateyes in the Dominican Republic. As part of this initiative, we’ve also donated shoes and reading glasses to the underprivileged communities abroad.
Backpack Drive – Every year we also conduct a donation drive to help students acquire the school supplies they need to take on a new school year.
Ronald McDonald House – Through our partnership with the Ronlad McDonald House, we also conduct fundraisers such as the Character Breakfast, Sport a Shirt, Bingo Night, Ice Cream Party, and cook monthly meals for the families staying at the RMHC.
Random Acts of Christmas Kindness (RACK’d) – We’ve also managed to donate hundreds of toys and toothbrushes to children in need in our community.
